![]() UK are turds - small squadrons with long replacement times made of slow but durable planes. Planes are somewhat fragile, but fast and IJN TB have improved concealment, with maxed out camo you can outspot 152mm armed AA cruisers like Minotaur. Bomb drop trajectory also matters, so definitely skill sensitive. Hakuryu IMO gets the best rockets of all tier 10, due to mix of damage, accuracy and workable 30mm HE pen, so only BBs are out of reach. Torps are top tier across the board in terms of speed and damage, AP bombs are mainly anti cruiser weapon - on quite a number of battleships bombs simply detonate before reaching citadel. Early rockets are lacking both in damage and numbers, Shokaku ones are much more useable simply because you throw more of them per run. IJN are precise scalpel - you need to know what targets you can brutalize with what, but once you get hang of that damage potential is I'd say higher than USN. Planes themselves are middle ground - okay speed, decent health. unreliable against DDs and maneuvering targets. Dive bombers can smack pretty much everything you come across, but accuracy nerfs made them. Torps are solid, short arming distance, decent damage. Alternative are TiTs - Tiny Tims, massive rockets with fcukhueg penetration at 68mm and damage close to BB projectile, but very few in numbers, making them prone to RNG trolling. Decent rockets, though tier 8 and 10 have horrendous disperion on HVAR (multiple small rockets), though can damage plenty of targets with 32mm HE pen. USN are versatile hammer - you can spank pretty much every ship type with every kind of payload at your disposal. ![]()
